At Clarke Junior School, leadership is built on collaboration, professional growth and a shared commitment to improving learning.
“We are each of us angels with only one wing and we can only fly by embracing each other.”
— Luciano De CrescenzoThe school has a senior leadership team which is led by the Head Teacher and supported by Clarke Group. We have a shared leadership model where together we work towards our goals, challenging and supporting each other to grow.
School leaders of learning, subject leaders and year group leaders ensure that students are reaching their potential. They regularly review and reflect on curriculum delivery, classroom practices, professional learning needs, assessment data and the general running of the school.
Professional learning for individual leaders and middle leaders is provided through our School Leadership and Management Programme. The Parent Association provides invaluable support across the school and helps ensure that parents have a meaningful voice in the life of the school.
The student-led School Council contributes to decision-making and is consulted by leadership teams where appropriate, giving students an active voice within their school community.
